"MtrRider Just Wants Doritos" (MtrRider)

"The Budget" has been ruining our lives ever since we learned what money was. It keeps us safe and makes sure most of us will never have a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, or any of the cars we really really want. But imagine if any car you wanted was just out of reach. Imagine it was just a little too much for you to realistically spend, although you could afford it if you cut back on frivolous things like eating lunch every day or wearing clean socks. What car would you make serious sacrifices to own if given the chance to do so?
Keep in mind you would be spending a lot of money, whatever you can afford and then some. Your savings account? You might as well close it, you won't be adding to it while you're driving this car. But you can also have any car you can think of.

I would never break the budget for any car.
There are other priorities, and you don't need more than a Mustang.

There's not much I wouldn't do for an Exige. Realistically, I can get a tiny apartment for around $400/month, feed myself for around $5/day if my college budget is any indication, and use the rest of my income for maintenance and repair. All I want out of life is a good car, simple as that, I don't need much else.

The Falcon Ute itself would be relatively cheap, the import permits and lawyers would be the part that put it in G-Wagen territory.
Then again I spent my Subaru Outback budget on a Brat.

This if I was willing to dump every cent I've saved for my apartment and walk away owning it outright.
This if I was willing to finance.

it'd be cheaper to move here. Falcons are cheap. So are Subaru Brumbies/Brats.

Okay, be right over. Just got to fill out some forms. Have to study up on the AC power standards, but okay then. Computers are computers. Just get a Brumby so I'm not entirely alien to the world, albiet mirrored..

This:
A 7-8 years old one with 50 000 miles is BRZ money + 30-40%. Not unrealistic. And for the price of a Japanese coupe, you get one of the best looking Astons, with a V8 and a 6-speed manual. Quite a way to break the budget.
Of course, after having bought it I'll be introduced to three people:
-Mr. 18mpg
-his good friend Mr. Maintenance bill
-their partner Mrs. insurance bill, who will be very happy to learn that I am 26.
I'm not sure we'll get along well...

Is there a better supercar/hypercar to come out of the 00's? No. The curves are evocative, the heritage is romantic, and the horsepower figure is just right! And on a side note this is the only car that hasn't depreciated but has appreciated, so I may break the bank but it's an investment!

I'd give up all my money and much more for complete motoring bliss.

I'm considering breaking my budget (not exactly, but utilizing a decent chunk of it) in order to get a low mileage C6. After looking at new cars for a while (BRZ, WRX, Focus ST, Golf R), I realized I'd rather spend slightly more (or in one of those cases less) and get a lot more car for my money.

I bought this before I cold really afford nice things. Much Ramen was eaten, much tap water drunk, many jackets worn (heater and A/C turned off), and much YouTube watched (cancelled my cable).

cool. bring sturdy shoes so you don't fall off.
I know an EJ20T Brumby for sale that you could get too, though the dickhead wants more than an FG XR6 Turbo.

active safety is always better then passive safety. a better handling car will be better at avoiding the crash in the first place.
plus, its designed for those higher speed. meaning stronger steel and what not
(i know tht last past is kinda BS, but you could proabbly convince her, no XD)
